IRAP // A Refugee’s Story

We were honored to work closely with the lovely folks at International Refugee Assistance Project to create this short film for their event on May 7th, at the Lincoln Theater in NYC. The event, called “IRAP Tonight,” was hosted by John Oliver and honored several refugees from around the world, telling their stories and highlighting the work IRAP does on behalf of thousands of refugees.

The project was a tight turnaround, animated in less than two weeks. Big thanks to our friends Arthur Metcalf (character animation) and Shervin Shaeri (music and sound) whose quick work made it possible, and the team at IRAP, who kindly and consistently helped us strike the right balance in telling such a difficult and delicate story.

IRAP helps refugees around the world find legal pathways to safety, and works to reunite families who have been separated by difficulties along the way.
